Terms of Service
Terms of Service for commissions and merchandise.
Introduction
These Terms cover commissions, digital products, and physical merchandise sold by Galaxy Littlepaws through this site and related storefronts: galaxylittlepaws.com, shop.galaxylittlepaws.com, and Ko-fi.
By placing an order or commission request, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't order.
Definitions
- Artist — Galaxy Littlepaws.
- Client — you, the person ordering or requesting work.
- Work commenced — the Artist has actually started your work and told you so.
- Response — a reply on whichever platform we're using to communicate, sent after the Artist's last message.
- Artwork — any digital or physical creative work produced, including illustrations, textures, and 3D assets.
Communication and Age Requirement
- You must be 18 or older to order.
- All commission communication happens through email or Ko-fi only — no other platforms.
- The Artist will send status updates at key milestones, and at least every 14 days while work is active.
- Vague or incomplete requests may be declined to avoid misunderstandings.
Art Commissions
- Payment is due upfront unless you agree otherwise in writing with the Artist.
- Once work has commenced, refunds are not available — except as described below.
- One revision is included during the draft stage. Extra revisions, scope changes, or major direction shifts may cost more.
- If the Artist hasn't delivered within 60 days of the last progress update, you can request a refund.
- If the Artist asks for feedback and you don't respond for 30 days, the commission may be marked abandoned with no refund.
- Abandoned commissions can only be restarted at the Artist's discretion and may require a restart fee.
- Commercial use is not included. If you need it, ask and agree on it in writing before ordering.
- You can use the artwork on personal social profiles as long as you credit Galaxy Littlepaws.
- The Artist may share finished work in their portfolio and socials unless you arrange a non-display agreement in writing beforehand.
Second Life® Commissions
- Everything in Art Commissions above applies here too, unless this section says differently.
- Payment must be in USD, or equivalent of L$ as of the time of purchase where necessary.
- You may not port or use the work in other games, platforms, or virtual worlds without written permission.
VRChat Premades and Commissions
- Downloadable assets are final — no refunds once delivered.
- Currently supported bases:
- For bases the Artist doesn't own, you can purchase and provide the license — the Artist may offer a discount in that case.
- All the payment, feedback, and revision rules from Art Commissions apply here too.
- Available slots are listed on Ko-fi.
Intellectual Property and License
- The Artist keeps copyright to all artwork unless you've agreed in writing to a copyright transfer.
- You get a license to use the work for the agreed purpose — nothing beyond that.
- You may not sell, resell, sublicense, redistribute, or use the work in merchandise without a separate written agreement.
- Source files and layered project files are not included unless specifically agreed in writing.
- You may not remove the Artist's signature or credit without written approval.
- Using delivered work to train AI models or build datasets is not allowed.
Physical Merchandise
- If your order arrives defective, contact within 30 days of delivery and the Artist will work out a remedy (replacement, store credit, or similar).
- Shipping timelines are set by the carrier and are out of the Artist's control.
- The Shop Terms and Conditions also apply to physical orders.
- For fulfillment and checkout matters, if there's a conflict between these Terms and the shop platform's terms, the shop platform's terms win.
Payments, Refunds, and Chargebacks
- You're responsible for providing accurate billing and contact details.
- Fraudulent chargebacks or payment reversals may result in being banned from future service.
- If a chargeback is filed, the Artist may share order, communication, and delivery records with the payment processor to dispute it.
- Any taxes or duties in your jurisdiction are your responsibility, unless the Artist is legally required to collect them.
Liability, Disclaimers, and Indemnity
- Everything is provided as-is and as-available, to the extent allowed by law.
- The Artist is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — to the fullest extent the law allows.
- If a claim arises, the Artist's maximum liability is capped at the amount you paid for that specific order.
- If you misuse, unlawfully share, or otherwise abuse the delivered work and a third party makes a claim against the Artist as a result, you agree to cover the Artist's costs.
Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, unless your local consumer laws require otherwise.
- If there's a problem, both sides agree to try to resolve it by email first before going to court.
- If that doesn't work, disputes go to a court in the Artist's jurisdiction, unless the law requires otherwise.
Force Majeure
The Artist is not responsible for delays caused by things outside their control — including platform outages, payment processor issues, illness, natural disasters, internet failures, or government actions.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms can be updated at any time. Changes take effect when posted here. Orders placed after an update are covered by the new Terms.
Final
Last updated: June 13th, 2026.
The Artist may refuse or cancel any order that breaks these Terms, involves abusive behavior, or poses legal risk. If the Artist cancels before work has commenced, you'll receive a full refund.
If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
